Attention BTC enthusiasts! Bitcoin's price faced a wild rollercoaster ride at the end of the business week, including a drop of $8,000, but it has bounced back somewhat since then.
Several altcoins, such as AVAX, BNB, SOL, and APT, have also recovered from Friday's crash and are today's top performers.
BTC started the week with massive fluctuations, first dipping to $67,000 before skyrocketing to a new all-time high of roughly $73,000. However, the bears soon took over, pushing BTC down to under $69,000. More volatility followed, with BTC reaching another all-time high of almost $74,000 on Thursday before slumping to a weekly low of under $66,000.
Now, BTC is trading at just over $69,000, with a market cap of over $1.350 trillion and a dominance of 49.2% over altcoins.
Among the altcoins, Solana's SOL is on a roll, up by 8% and trading above $190 - its highest price in over two years. AVAX, BNB, and Aptos are also in the green, while DOGE, SHIB, and ETH have seen slight declines.
The total crypto market cap has recovered more than $60 billion in a day, now sitting at over $2.760 trillion. Keep an eye on BTC as it aims for $70K again!
