Ukrainian MP Investigated Over Cryptocurrency Ownership

Ukrainian MP came under investigation due to cryptocurrencies ‼ According to media reports, deputy Alexander Marikovsky now has experience of unpleasant communication with anti-corruption authorities due to his own income declaration. In 2020, he officially indicated that he owns cryptocurrency worth UAH 24.6 million. But as law enforcement officers established, Alexander Marikovsky is not the owner of this crypto-wallet, and the proceeds to the wallet came from third parties. Can this be considered illegal means or the deputy simply had to carry out operations this way due to the lack of normal crypto regulation in Ukraine, the investigation will decide.
